BAG'n'NOUN

BAG'n'NOUN

Mamborama has been at the forerefront of Japanese street fashion for almost 20 years. In it's early days it focused on 60's UK vintage clothing, and later branched into French army surplus and outdoor wear. Ten years ago Mamborama launched the Necessary or Unnecessary (NOUN) brand.

NOUN has evolved into a range of men’s fashion supplemented by the popular sub-brand BAG'n'NOUN, which specialises in funky, fresh unisex bags and rucksacks.

Mamborama prizes high quality materials and workmanship in the construction of its bags. Rather than being produced cheaply offshore they are made entirely in Osaka, Japan of high quality, durable textiles. Producing its bags domestically enables Mamborama to ensure that high standards are maintained. Despite being domestically produced they remain competitively priced.
The core series of colourful tote bags, rucksacks and weekend bags is supplemented with seasonal limited editions, including printed and woven designs. In late 2009 it added lunch box bags to its range.

NOUN has been praised by both domestic and overseas buyers for its functionality, economy, quality and design.

THE COLLECTIONS

There are two lines in the BAG'n'NOUN range: The Basic Collection contains the most popular styles which receive seasonal colour updates. The Limited Collection is comprised of several series that are sold for only a limited time, or produced in limited quantities.

For Spring 2010, BAG'n'NOUN is proud to announce the release of the Tote series, a range of colourful totes made from canvas custom-spun in a specialised mill in Japan. There are others too, so make sure you don't miss out.
